We hope you can join us on Saturday, April 24 at 5pm PT/8pm ET for a one-of-a-kind comedy show to benefit cancer patients and their care partners.
Hosted by Summer Golden, comedian, cancer patient advocate, and a Network Manager for Patient Empowerment Network (PEN), this Zoom-based show will feature live performances by comedians who have personally experienced living with cancer.
In lieu of selling tickets, we’re encouraging donations to the Patient Empowerment Network (PEN), a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving cancer treatment outcomes and health equity. 100% of funds raised will be used to provide free online resources covering diagnosis and testing, treatment, clinical trials, financing, recovery, and everything in-between that will empower patients and care partners to achieve the best possible outcome from cancer.

I'm a Nursing Instructor who does my best to find humor in the sadness I see every day. They say "Laughter is the best medicine." I got into comedy after going through some tough times and found that to be true. I recently moved from California to Florida and so far, I am loving it.
Mickey is thrilled to be working on this fundraiser. She has decades of experience in the theatres of San Diego County for acting, mostly in comedies, and doing standup routines. She is a graduate of Finest City Improv and can be seen here and there and over there performing her improv.
